Why Do I Love You?

Well Hello Lovely Backers,

I can't believe our time of updates is coming to an end. By now most of you should have received your book so if you haven't please get in touch with me. I must say it has been so heart warming and encouraging to get so many personal emails, pictures and even videos from the true critics, the little people in your lives. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. Hearing of the joy the book is bringing makes all the work so worthwhile.

I've just emailed out the remaining rewards which are the poster, colouring book and eBook so apologies for all the emails. With regards to the eBook there are three format options:

• MOBI: An eBook in MOBI is for Amazon Kindles only 
• ePUB fixed-layout: an eBook in ePUB format is for all other eReaders (other than a Kindle). A fixed-layout eBook is the best way to view a children's illustration book on an eReader. However not all eBook readers can display fixed-layout eBooks, in which case you will have to download the reflowable version.
• ePUB reflowable layout: Only download this version if your eReader cannot display a fixed-layout eBook. However be warned, like the name suggests, the images and text will change their positions, to accommodate different-sized eReaders.

Finally I've set up a Facebook Page Why Do I Love You and I would love you to check it out. To be honest there's not a whole lot on it at the moment but that will change very soon. I have a few exciting events coming up soon that I would love to share with you. In addition a number of you have been asking where can the book be bought from so I am delighted to say there is a link on my Facebook Page from where it can be purchased.

Since I hope you will continue to follow the journey of Why Do I Love You on Facebook, I won't say goodbye but instead thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to work on something that has given me so much passion and joy.

And sure who knows I may be back on with another update :-).

Watch Out Your Book Is Coming!

Dearest Patient Backers,

I am delighted to say that the books have arrived.

I've been packing and posting them all week so I know some of you have gotten them already. If you haven't gotten your delivery yet, hold tight as I still have more to pack but it will be on its way to you very soon.

Once I get all the books out, I'll send another email in the next week or so with details on how to download the eBook and other remaining rewards.

It's Printed And On The Way!!!

Hello Lovely Backers,

I'm so delighted to finally be able to give you an update on the book. OK so I was totally unrealistic in my estimation of how long the printing process would take but the good news is, it's printed and it looks incredible!

The printing company have been so professional and engaging and they have sent me on a few pictures that I would like to share with you.

Two advanced copies were sent to the head office in the US for their approval before sending them on to me, which I got in the post today.  Wow what a relief to finally see the finished product and for it to be even better than I could have imagined.

So where does that leave your book.

Well, the printing company has just told me that it can take 7-9 days for the books to reach the shipping port and that the actual shipping process itself can take up to 8 weeks. I'll need a week to post all the books and assuming a week for postage, the honest realistic estimation as to when you can expect your beautiful copy is 11 - 12 weeks. 

I am truly sorry if the pushed out delivery date ruins any of your plans for the book and all I can say is I promise you it will be worth the wait.

Hello Lovely Backers,

The file for the book went to the printing company today.  It is really beautiful and I know you are going to love it!! The design stage took 3 weeks longer than expected but it just couldn’t be rushed and I promise you it will be worth the wait.

I know I mentioned previously that I'd show you more of the illustrations but I think it’ll make opening the book even more special if I keep you in suspense. With that said here’s a glimpse of the front cover.

Once I get the sample copy from the printers, I’ll have a good idea as to when you can expect your book so as soon as I know I'll be back on to you.

I sent out the surveys on Saturday via Backerkit.  If you haven't completed your survey, I hear Backerkit are sending loads of reminder emails.  Sorry!   I don't want to be bothering you but unfortunately I need this information.
